Rockwood has a very healthy population of Moose and Whitetail Deer, of which you are extremely likely to encounter during your stay. This camp is perfectly located on a quiet dirt road on the edge of town, making it nearly impossible to not enjoy the unmatched serenity that rural Maine has to offer. Snowmobile/ATV right from the property to go fishing, hunting, or even to local restaurants! There is a private dock from which you can store your boat and/or launch the kayaks from within walking distance from the camp. Right off the dock is also a great spot to catch salmon and trout! This property is extremely close to the mouth of the Moose River, which is locally famous for having some of the best lake trout and landlocked salmon fishing in the area! There are numerous local guides for hire to help make trip the experience of a lifetime! Local activities include but are not limited to snowmobiling, ATV riding, boating, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, hiking, and so much more!
