Dune Hideaway is a 3 bedroom house set on 1000 square metres of sand dune - you'll get your feet sandy as soon as you step out the door! With two bedrooms with queensize beds, plus a third room with 2 single bunks (4 beds), it sleeps up to 8. It's perfect for families, couples or friends.
The large open space dining and lounge is made for RELAXING with three sofas and a dining setting for 6. We put in a new kitchen in 2023 with dishwasher, front loader washing machine contained in a cupboard, new fridge and oven.
There is a large bathroom with a bath and shower, separate toilet, and a washing machine available for use in the shed.
We have ducted evaporative air-conditioner and a cosy combustion heater (please note it is unguarded, as per the photos, so please consider if this will be an issue with the age of your children
Pets are welcome in the non-carpeted areas of the house and off furnishings.
Linen is BYO (however quilts, quilt covers and pillows are provided) however you can arrange to hire sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels. Please advise at the time of booking if you wish to hire linen at a cost of $20 per bed.

Aldinga Beach and the Fleurieu
Dune Hideaway is at the quiet southern end of Aldinga Beach, right near Silver Sands beach and the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park. Set on a dirt road, you really do feel like you're far away from the city despite being only 30 mins from Flinders University (on the Southern Expressway).
You have the convenience of local take-away stores and restaurants if you so desire, and a playground around the corner at the Aldinga Surf Life Saving Club.
Dune Hideaway is a perfect starting point for exploring the wineries, beaches and environment of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Visit the McLaren Vale Wine Region, Willunga Markets, Deep Creek Conservation Park and other coastal towns such as Normanville, Carrickalinga and Port Willunga.
