The private 20-acre nature estate just off Ruta 34 in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific, about 10 minutes by car from Carara National Park. This is not a manicured resort or a standardized modern rental. It is a Costa Rica estate, an authentic tribute to the colonial heritage architecture designed for guests who value space, privacy, nature, and independence.
The property includes 7 independent villas spread across a natural seasonal forest setting. Unlike a single-villa stay, this estate gives groups multiple private spaces while still allowing everyone to stay together on one property.
The villas were intentionally built in a traditional colonial style, using solid concrete construction, high ceilings, shaded terraces, clay tile floors, and handcrafted details. These design choices help the homes feel strong, grounded, naturally cool, and connected to the surrounding environment, while still offering modern comforts such as A/C, hot water, full kitchens, and fiber optic internet.
The villas feature authentic Loseta de Barro, a handmade clay tile with natural color variation, texture, and patina. These floors are not meant to look like modern uniform tile; their earthy finish and age are part of the traditional character of the homes. Bathrooms feature hand painted Talavera-style tilework, adding color, craftsmanship, and timeless Spanish charm.
The surrounding grounds are kept natural rather than manicured. Costa Rica has two very different seasons: the dry season brings a golden, more open forest feel and perfect for photography, while the rainy season brings lush greenery. Both seasons are part of the estate’s natural setting.
This is a property with personality, history, architecture, and nature, not a hotel, resort, or polished suburban style rental. Guests who appreciate traditional materials, high ceilings, privacy, wildlife, and an real Costa Rica setting tend to enjoy the estate most.
The 7 villas, approximately 14,000+ sq ft of total living space, 3 pool areas and a pool casita to gather, outdoor gathering spaces, natural roads and paths, and parking near the villas. You can walk or drive your car, your choice.

Guests may bring their own groceries, drinks, and supplies, or arrange optional services such as a private chef, transportation, tours, massages, or activities in advance for an additional cost and subject to availability.
