Summary: The house and property are wonderful and the lake is just beautiful. We immediately felt at home and incredibly relaxed. Great location if you want to stay in more and enjoy the property and lake, which is what we did along with Acadia so it worked really well for us. 4 stars for online accuracy only bc It's a 2 mile drive on a stone road past blueberry fields to the house and we didn't see/read that. If you're wanting to explore the area and be in/out of the house, this will add to your travel time. We brought bikes and couldn't use them, but we loved the house and waterfront. The owners left many welcoming touches and invitations to dive into anything in the kitchen. The neighbors were very caring to ensure we were feeling at home, which we absolutely were. The Loons and two Eagles kept watch on us! We'd be happy to return.
