Nestled in the trees, your custom-designed tiny house welcomes you with unlimited opportunities for relaxation and reconnection.
We designed and built our "Texas Hill Country Tiny Home" with our guests' experience in mind, sparing no detail or amenity to create a peaceful outdoor getaway.
Every detail has been carefully prepared for your stay. Enjoy your morning coffee and our farm fresh eggs from the covered patio - if the air is chilly, grab a cozy throw and turn on the gas fire table. Stay on-site throughout the day and read a book or take a long nap in the hammock, explore the ranch for wildlife and animal views, or cool off in a Hill Country Soaking Tub.
In the evening, grill steaks or veggies for dinner and enjoy a glass or bottle of wine (whose counting!?). Nights are spent under the Texas skies in a private hot tub for two before slipping into your ultra-comfy bed. Be sure and turn off the lights and open the doors to the outside to experience the sounds of the hill country as you drift off to dreamland.
Decorated in "Hill Country Ranch Chic" the house is larger than expected with high ceilings, a wall of windows and french doors that open to the patio. A queen-size antique cast-iron bed is outfitted with luxury linens, pillows, a soft quilt and an extra throw.
The ceramic tiled floor is covered with a soft cow-hide rug and a plush, custom-made leather and cowhide chaise lounge invites you to watch birds and other wildlife. The fun loft space has just enough room for a game of cards, reading a book or watching a movie on the 32" TV with Roku and DVD player.
One full wall includes a small kitchen with a sink, coffee pot, microwave, a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker and a double burner hot plate with a selection of cookware and dishes. We provide plenty of Fixin's for coffee or hot tea and a small selection of spices and condiments. A small dining table provides a place for breakfast, food prep or a laptop.
The bathroom is separated from the rest of the space by a sliding barn door with a custom-designed vanity, toilet and walk-in shower.
Outdoors you'll find a covered patio with plenty of seating around a gas fire table, outdoor dining space and a soothing hot tub. The well-landscaped yard is fenced on one side for privacy and backs up to the pasture with our Texas Longhorns Seco, Elvis and Medina, the goats and our ranch dog, Chase. The yard includes a pair of Adirondack chairs surrounding a metal trough soaking tub for summer splashing and a hammock for afternoon naps.
As our guests, you will have access to explore the 72 wooded acres where an endless variety of birds, blackbuck antelope, deer, fox and other wildlife as well as our longhorns, goats, and chickens live.
The "Hill Country Tiny Home" was the first of our tiny homes built on our ranch near Tarpley, Texas, about an hour from San Antonio and near the towns of Hondo and Bandera, Hill Country State Natural Area, Lost Maples State Natural Area, Lake Medina and other fun hill country towns and rivers.
