Positive: Our stay at Bask Gili Meno was nothing short of extraordinary — truly one of the most special experiences of our lives. The food alone deserves its own standing ovation. Every single meal was out of this world incredible — some of the best food we have ever eaten anywhere in the world. Not just “good resort food”, but genuinely exceptional dining. The service, however, is what truly sets Bask apart. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. The warmth, care and attention to detail were beyond outstanding. Manuel, the manager, made our honeymoon feel incredibly special from start to finish — nothing was ever too much trouble, and every interaction felt thoughtful and sincere. We loved it so much… we didn’t want to leave. We actually extended our stay. The rooms are absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, luxurious, peaceful and immaculately maintained. Honestly, Bask (and its incredible team) have completely ruined every other resort for us. Nothing compares. Once you experience this level of care, quality and soul, everywhere else feels like a downgrade. We were even lucky enough to meet the owner, who is so down to earth and genuine. You instantly understand why this place is so special — the heart behind Bask is real, and it shows in every detail. And the cocktails… wow. Creative, perfectly balanced, and genuinely world-class. A very special mention to Griffin, Hairil and Andy, who we now genuinely feel are part of our extended family. Their kindness, humour and warmth made our stay unforgettable. We have stayed in 5-star resorts all over the world, and without hesitation, Bask Gili Meno far exceeds every single one of them. This is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience, a feeling, a memory we will treasure forever. We are already planning our return trip.
