A brand new house on the river, on 2 acres of land next to a park, feels like it's in the country but is walkable to downtown Thomaston. Striking river views, cozy and warm rooms, large kitchen with everything you need to make a nourishing meal. Open and bright spaces create a relaxing atmosphere combining modern and traditional decor. Large porch for sipping tea or dining al fresco while overlooking the beautiful scenery. A beautiful and spacious new home with ways to relax inside or outside, surrounded by woods and a park. No neighbors next door! Enjoy privacy and turn that music up! Guests have full access to the whole property. Nicole is often in the area and close by, otherwise we have a property manager that can help with any needs our guests have. Thomaston is a quaint neighborhood, less than a 10 minute drive from Rockland and 20 minutes from Camden. Downtown Thomaston has a cafe, general store, mystic shop, a few restaurants and bars, a post office, and a gas station. There are walking trails nearby, you can walk along the water from this property over to the shipyard, to a waterfront restaurant (The Slipway), or around the neighborhoods where you can enjoy many historic homes. We are not able to offer early check-in or late check-out. We need 10am to 4pm to clean the house for the next guest. Late check-out will incur a $50 per hour fee. We love animals but are not accepting any pets at this time. Please do not ask for an exception to these rules. Thank you for your understanding!
