The Space:
In this flat, where me and my wife lived together, we've had great times by enjoying the spacious and comfortable areas, enjoyed the great views and the surrounding services that provided whatever we needed for our everyday life.
After coming from work in a 12 mins drive from Ponta Delgada we would park the car and let it there until the next day for work. We would pick our groceries by foot or even enjoy a great piece of quality time in the esplanades in the public squares nearby.
For this new project to lodge people from all over the world, we committed to the effort of enhancing the space without loosing its characteristic identity. The flat has now 2 complete bathrooms with 2 showers, 2 toilets and 3 washbasins to meet the needs of lodging 10 guests at maximum with the due comfort, but also to be able to suit only 2 guests without loosing its cozyness.
Being a space whith such devotion given to it and with our pleasure of providing authenthicity to the guests to come, the furniture present in the hall, living/dining area and the bunks were all designed specifically for the spaces and handcrafted by an experienced local woodworker.
The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and appliances, except for dishwashing machine. There's a generous laundry space at the back, thru the kitchen, for washing, hanging and ironing clothes if necessary plus cleaning acessories and products.
The North-to-South orientation of the flat provides a great natural income of fresh air by leaving openings in both sides. Which makes the clothes' drying easier and brings freshness to the common spaces for gathering, without the worry of flies entering, since all entrances are equipped with mosquito nets.
Despite the mentioned above, the three bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, which we thing is a must in therms of comfort.
Interaction with guests:
In case you decide to do your Holidays with no vehicle i'll gladly pick you up at the airport to drive or assist you to the house to a max of 4 guests per trip (my car capacity, besides the driver). I can also shop some groceries at your personal taste so you would have it fresh and prepared for your arrival.
All info about guided tours, sightseeing, bird watching, whale watching, hiking trails, dining places, and other activities will be available at the house ready for you.
I will also be reachable by phone at any time of your stay and help you in everything i can.
